Back Squat: 15 minutes 1×5 at 75% rest 60-90s 1×3 at 80% rest 60-90s 2×2 at 85% rest 60-90s 1 max set at 85%

Strength – we’re going to be doing 5 sets at 75-85%. First set should be sets of 5 at 75% then 1 set of 3 at 80%, 2 sets of 2 at 85%. The final set will be a max effort set to form failure, so we should see an increase in reps overall here.

AMRAP 12 2 Push Press 75/55 | 45/35 | DBs 8 Back Rack Box Step Ups 75/55 + 20″/16″ | 45/35 + 20″16″ | DBs + smaller box 4 Push Press 8 Back Rack Box Step Ups 6 Push Press 8 Back Rack Box Step Ups 8/8, 10/8, 12/8, ect. add 2 PP each round.

Workout – Ascending AMRAP with only the push press weight going up. Push Press weight should be light, ideally something we never have to break up. We’ll perform back rack barbell step ups today, giving our shoulders a brief break and using a smaller box to ensure we can drive straight up without leaning forward.
