Strength: Tempo Deadlift at 50-60% 1RM E2MOM for 10 5 Deadlifts w/ 5 second negative

For today’s deadlifts, we’re going to focus on the eccentric, or lowering portion. Too often when cycling the deadlift we relax at the top and then try to rebrace on the way down. Control the eccentric in a smooth 5 count, and as soon as the plates hit the ground we should be pulling aggressive back up (no reset)

Workout – 4RFT 200m run 12 Alt Front Rack Barbell Lunges 95/65 12 Front Squats 95/65

Workout – nice, lighter workout that will tax our leg capacity to stay unbroken. Our goal should be to be able to complete the lunges (6/leg) and front squats without dropping the bar, performing a nice, slower run to recover and get ready to get right back on that barbell. Scale weights to 75/55
