Mark Edwards Monday November 27th

One our favorite 4pm’rs Mark Edwards has made some incredible changes since joining CrossFit Woodbridge.  I’m super proud of Mark.  He stayed consistent, showed up, worked on his weakness and has made incredible progress by doing so.  There is more to come from Mark but, here is a quick progress report from him.

It is really a testimony to how you both have changed my life.

I would like to share my success story since I joined Crossfit Woodbridge (CFW) and started working with NoBull Nutrition (NBN).

First let me say that I was a young athlete on both the football and track teams of my high school.  I continued to stay in shape until kids and heavy work schedules happened.  I tried joining gyms for New Year resolutions, but ended up paying and not using them over and over again.  I can honestly say that I had not had a steady workout / diet routine since the early 2000’s.

I knew I needed to get back to the gym, but was concerned with my build that I would bulk up rather than slim down.  Personal trainers were not an option, since most are too expensive for the budget.  I started looking for a workout that would use free weighs (moderate weight) with high reps, since I wanted to work my way back to the lean muscle look.  I also wanted a class format, so I would have some structure and a scheduled time to go.

I am so glad I found Crossfit Woodbridge after doing my research!  I had heard about Crossfit, but thought I was too out-of-shape to go.  The owners Dan, Stephanie, and the entire staff were so encouraging to me, even though I thought I looked ridiculous trying to get through those initial workouts.  I quickly realized that everyone is there to work out – no exhibition, competition, or judgement no matter what level you are.  It’s really an awesome community of real people doing what they have to do to be strong and healthy.

Time flies, but I’ve been going for over a year and a half now.  I cannot tell you how happy I am with the results.  More importantly, I actually think that I am in better shape than I was as a youngster.  And, I feel fantastic!

CFW and NBN gave me a plan.  All I had to do was commit.
