Overcome everything

After 4 1/2 months of being back, a super rough pregnancy at the very beginning and again in the middle, the gains and victories are soooo few and far between these days at the gym ๐Ÿ˜•and after my c section completely destroyed/wrecked/decimated my entire core it’s been incredibly frustrating and annoying and sometimes feels like I just started Crossfit after 6+ years of doing this. I usually come home at night and tell Brent how much I suck now, but last night I got to come home and tell him I beat everyone (so only 2 people were in class with me but whatever ๐Ÿ˜Š) and strung together every single set of chest to bar pull ups in the wod which I haven’t even attempted since coming back.ย  I’m probably the only person in that gym that wishes every single workout was just gymnastics movements so this TINY victory made me very happy. Everyone (especially my CF mom friends and coaches) told me this was going to be a very long, hard road and it’s been the longest road EVER and I’m not even close to where I should be or want to be. I still have a lot of muscle to gain, but hopefully that will come with more time. Who knows, maybe I’ll even start to like snatches and running. ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿƒ#justkiddingillneverlikesnatchesorrunning
