WHAT YEAR DID YOU START CROSSFITTING? 

I started following and doing the CrossFit workouts back in 2009 while overseas, we didn’t have a lot of gyms but my team and I would grab the workouts and learn as we went along.

WHY DID YOU GET INTO FITNESS (AND CROSSFIT)?

Fitness was and is a huge part of being in the military, CrossFit was the best adaptation of truly functional movements while incorporating strength and conditioning both of which are huge when trying to carry heavy weight while maintaining  the ability to move effectively in a combat environment.

WHY DID YOU BECOME A TRAINER?

I’ve had some great coaches and mentors in my quest for fitness and I want to help those in their quest.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE CROSSFIT MOVEMENT?

The Deadlift!
