Strength – Max Strict HSPU

Strength – after warming up, we’re going to be testing out our max effort strict HSPU. This shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes for one max effort set.

In two minutes complete: 250m/200m row Max strict HSPU Rest two minutes, repeat for a total of 3 rounds.

Workout – 3 interval style rounds centered around our HSPU work we’ve been doing. We should be finishing our rows in 1 minute, giving us another minute to perform AMRAP strict HSPU. Break these up into small, quicker sets to achieve higher volume, score is total across all 3 rounds.

4 sets of 50′ DB Overhead Lunge

Accessory: Because our strength was quicker today, we’re going to work on our Single arm OR double DB overhead lunges now that our shoulders are warm. Our goal today is to go as heavy as possible while being able to brace that overhead DB into our shoulderblades. Lets push our comfort zone here and try to go heavier than we do in workouts.
