Skill Thursday – Bar Muscle Up
Utilize a 20 minute clock – athletes that have BMU can accumulate on their own, but should work on trying to catch the turnover higher instead of on the sternum. Athletes do not can run through hanging hollow positioning, initiating swing with hips not feet, hips to bar drills and getting the chest back from the bar to allow the hips to rise. Jumping BMU will help to teach the quick turnover at the top.
Conditioning: 1 Mile Run Test ***Weight vest if possible for Murph prep!***
