Meet Ana Dawson
Past athletic history:
Growing up I did ballet. After college and having kids I did a variety of cardio activities: jogging, spinning, and aerobics.
How you heard of KBC:
After reading several articles about cross training, the biology behind interval training made a lot of sense. I was intrigued, but I did not personally know anyone who CrossFitted, much less any real moms who did. I came across a friend’s blog about her experience with CrossFit and realized I should give CrossFit a try. After a few weeks doing CrossFit, I was hooked, but wished there was a gentler introduction into CrossFit. I found out about Kinetic Boot Camp and decided to attend a class. I found that KBC provided the interval training I was looking for while teaching me some of the basics of CrossFit. I found the perfect fit.
Balancing family life with fitness: Being a homeschool mother it is somewhat difficult to balance my family life with KBC. I realize, however, that I am a much better mother, teacher, and wife when I feel energized and good about my body.
