Please help us welcome a new coach the CFW community, Marcie Fyock. Marcie has an ABUNDANCE of knowledge and experience..to mention a few a Doctorate in Athletic Training and a Masters in Exercise Science.  Marcie has been doing CrossFit for quite some time now and is an avid competitor. Read on below to find out all Marcie has to bring to the table for you guys!

WHAT YEAR DID YOU START CROSSFITTING? I began CrossFit in 2011

WHY DID YOU GET INTO FITNESS (AND CROSSFIT)? I’ve always been committed to leading a healthy and active lifestyle- following college soccer I needed something to continue that major part of life. I moved into long distance running and spent years running half and full marathons. I was introduced to CrossFit by a colleague and spent 2 years following the main site. Once I moved closer to an actual CrossFit gym I was immediately hooked and found a great outlet for my energy and competitive nature.

WHY DID YOU BECOME A TRAINER? I have always been drawn to teaching and I find my role as a trainer/coach another outlet to teach.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE CROSSFIT MOVEMENT? Muscle ups 🙂

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHEAT FOOD? Cupcakes

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE SUPERHERO AND WHY? Catwoman- not fully good and not fully bad
