WHAT YEAR DID YOU START CROSSFITTING? 2011

WHY DID YOU GET INTO FITNESS (AND CROSSFIT)?
I’ve always played sports growing up so fitness was always a part of me. As far as CrossFit, I was drawn in after seeing Nasty Girls on YouTube. I didn’t know about bumper plates back then so I thought they were super strong whipping around 135lbs for multiple reps.

WHY DID YOU BECOME A TRAINER? I love to teach, coach, and mentor. My goal is to make a positive change in people’s lives, one rep at a time.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE CROSSFIT MOVEMENT? The bar muscle up

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHEAT FOOD? Bon Chon chicken

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE SUPERHERO AND WHY? My favorite superhero would be Goku from the Dragonball series. He trains really hard, goes above and beyond to help his friends and family, and he knows how to throwdown on food.

“I’m a CF-L2 trainer with over six years of coaching experience. I have attended six CrossFit specialty courses (kettlebell, weightlifting, gymnastics, endurance, movement and mobility, striking). I also hold the USA-W Sports Performance Coach certification. Apart from CrossFit, I’m an Army Veteran with thirteen years of service. Sports and fitness has always been a part of my life. I’ve wrestled, grappled in BJJ, kicked around with soccer, bowled in leagues, and have completed more than a handful of foot races over ten miles to include a 50k ultra-marathon and the 48.6 mile Disney Dopey Challenge. Currently, I’m an active participant in Spartan Races. I’m married to my wife, Joanne, and we have two daughters, Mia and Chloe. Ultimately, my mission in life is to make a positivity impact in the world with one rep at a time.
