I’m as guilty as anyone else. There have been plenty of times I’ve looked at a WOD and thought, “Oh! I think I’ll rest today” or “That looks miserable . . . Pass”. I often hear “I wouldn’t have been able to do that”, “I hate to run!”, or even “I would’ve been last” as why some didn’t show up. Cherry picking your WODs defeats the Constantly Varied principle of CrossFit leading to gaping holes in your fitness. To get the most out of your training, stay committed to consistency. Whether you do 3-Days ON, 1-Day Off, or 5-On, 2-Off, or Mon-Wed-Fri, show up consistently to attack your weaknesses.
