We’ve all been there… Day 1 of a new workout program. You walk in, probably a little nervous and apprehensive… You leave completely discouraged. Starting a new workout program is a humbling experience. You know it’s going to be hard, but usually it’s harder than you think. Day 1 of crossfit was this way for me. I’ve always been in good shape, but crossfit (or crossfit type workouts) are a different monster. I was an avid runner for years before deciding I wanted to start a new challenge and get stronger. I walked into Crossfit Woodbridge and got my butt handed to me. I left feeling not so fit. It happens to everyone and I know it’s tempting to quit, but we must push through and realize everyone goes through it, and the end result is worth it. We all get through it, and we are better for it. Nothing good EVER comes easy, and if it does, it won’t last.
No evening class today. Enjoy your New Years!
