Try new things

Pictured above is Brandon nailing an Iron Cross (it might have been the camera man and some great timing)  As difficult as this may be and as much training it might take to actually get it, he still gives it a shot.  I would encourage everyone to play around with some moves and the progressions that may be tough.  Regularly learn and play new sports is included in World Class Fitness in 100 words.  Meaning, we need to get out there and try something new and hard and try and learn things that we aren’t always exposed to.  Olivia is another great example.  She wanted to try her hand at figure competition.  She tried it, learned more, got better and then did this. We need to break out of the gym sometimes and apply the fitness we’ve gained inside of it.  Life and sports are fun and we want to be better at it but you can’t find out unless you get out there and do it.

6 Rounds for time

20 Air Squats

10 Push Press (115, 75)

*By doing some WOD analysis who can tell me how long this should take?

I’d say around 8 minutes to complete.

  2. Charles says:

    6-9 Minutes

I think it depends on the person — someone like Nick, Dan, Lloyd, Lauren, Sara, (and other Badasses) we’re talking a 6 minute workout, tops. For most others, more like 12? Feel free to slap me if I’m wrong …
