For the Ladies of CFW…

So I found this article while browsing through the endless # of CrossFit focused Facebook pages and all of the articles associated.  It focuses on the differences and considerations that must be made when strength training women.  Many of the tips I believe that we have thought of and considered before but some were new to me.  Take a look at the article and let us know what you think.  Bottom line…we have some very strong and capable women at CFW and pound for pound there is a pretty good argument that our women could be stronger than our men.  Sorry guys its just a fact!

    We have some AMAZING female and male athletes! I don’t want to discriminate! Everyone has their strengths, and weaknesses. For me, for example, anything that requires a crap ton of flexibility (snatch) or skill (KIPPING..arch nemesis) I am pretty lame at. Anything that is just brute strength or cardio I kind of kick ass. So yes, we have some women that can crush men, and yes we have awesome men. I say, be proud of your strengths, and as much as a weakness might frustrate you (anger tears anyone?), just do your best and practice, get better!
