We had a very productive day yesterday with the Front Squats. I didn’t count but I’d estimate that 95% of the gym PR’d and we’ve completely rewritten the Leaderboard in the process. Granted that it’s been a while since we’ve tested the Front Squat at maximal effort, but it’s still astonishing that so many people have added weight to their 1RM.

One great example of this is Colleen. She’s held the previous gym record for about 10 months until it was broken at 6am by Rosalyn. So, not to be outdone, Colleen not only increases her lift by nearly 75%, she smashes the new gym record by 60#. And as you’ll see in the video, she does it with the bar moving forward!

Also, very much worth noting, Adam T, who weighs around 160#, Front Squat 365#. That’s about 230% of his body weight. Strong? I’d say so.

Fantastic job, guys! Keep it up!

    Thanks everyone. It was ugly though, started going forward on the way down, really thought I was going to lose it but I did prevail…haha. Next time it will be prettier and heavier ;)
