Is This Mic On?

BAW_5307wmIn the past 2 weeks, we’ve only had 19 comments on these WOD posts. We had 20 the last 3 DAYS of the old website! So, what’s the deal! Do you only get on the site to see the workout? Are our posts long-winded or not engaging enough? Remember, this is a two-way street. The commitment you make to us is the commitment we make to you. The more you get involved, the more you’ll get out of the program. Step up. Be active. Get involved. Share your thoughts, comments, concerns, wins/loses, success/failure . . . Sharing your experiences will not only help others, it will sharpen your own perceptive on your training.

The Mic is on…I don’t just log on to see the WOD. I also like to see the coaches’ thoughts. I would love to see more dialogue from the other members of the box.

  2. MrsBull says:

ummm…are all these movements scaleable for one legged people? I’m dying here. So bummed because I’ve been looking to do this wod again.

  3. Bruce Williams says:

So is the filthy 50 punishment for not commenting??? If so…. I’m with it. Lets go!!!!!!(inside voice)

  4. Elysia says:

Well, I probably comment too much. I don’t comment every single night, but if you ask a specific question I do try to answer. I like to check the workout and read the blog. You’re not long winded and you’re pretty good at matching up a photo with the content of the post, which requires thought and effort. I think y’all have the perfect voice(s) for a fitness blog.

  5. Bianca says:

I really enjoy reading the blog posts, it’s the first thing I do when I get to work. I agree with Elysia, I don’t think the posts are long winded.

…..This picture reminds me of how I felt last night when I was working on the thrusters.

I agree, we need to have more input from everyone. Anyways, after this past Saturday’s Master WOD #2, I thought JACKIE wasn’t going to be that difficult in comparison—Ha, stupid me, JACKIE KICKED my @#$%& big time—But you know there’s nothing like a good ass kicken from a CFW WOD— Keep pressing on, Keep challenging our selves to achieve a higher level of over all health—PS..TY to all for pushing me yesterday–

  7. Rick says:

I’m usually too wasted after the WOD to type :-) Love the pictures though–they provide great inspiration with some much-needed comic relief (Steven’s pic) at times. The blogs posts make me think about my committment to myself and push me to work harder each day. Getting stronger and fitter every day thanks to CFW and the coaches…

  8. Candace says:

I love reading the blog! I just completed 1 month & 1 week at CF. Thank you Dan, Nick, and Lloyd! This is truly life changing!

  9. Rae says:

Love the blog. Great points and photos, always. I also check the FB page, though, and I see a lot more comments over there… maybe folks are just getting used to FBing more these days.

  10. Kerri says:

It was a Filthy Fifty. I have it under my nails. I like seeing the pics and reading the comments; guess I’m a lurker…

  11. Kasper says:

Your blog post are never long winded. Your words are always very informative. I always look forward to see what is coming the next day. Today’s ‘Filthy Fifty’ was an eye opening experience. There are moments that I think, “OMG, what have I gotten myself into”, but then at the completion of the WOD I am happy to have treated my body as an amusement park. My thanks and appreciation to all the Trainers for the push and the others in the class for the competitiveness.

  12. Craig says:

I enjoy reading and commenting on the blogs when I can, however sometimes work and life prevent this from happening, Go figure… I’m committed to CFW, it’s part of who I am. With that being said, it’s time for me to go back to work. I’ll see you all at tonights WOD =)

  13. Rosalyn says:

I treat these blogs like I do Facebook. I read ‘em everyday, digest the valuable information, and look at the cool pics. If I have something to say I say it. If I don’t, I don’t. Simple as that… I don’t think the blogs are long-winded. I enjoy reading them, as well as the links included. It’s all good information to me. Keep it coming.

  14. Jeremy says:

I definitely read every day. I would probably write more if it were more like a online forum where we can hold active discussions about various skills, strategies, diet, etc. It would be nice to be able to start a new topic about something that is challenging to us, etc.

  15. Dr pauley says:

I’ll take a moment to comment in thanking Crossfit Woodbridge in its great support of our pamper and protect benefit last night. Eve and jenn really did a great job presenting, and thanks to Dan and the trainers for selling tickets and the whole Cfw community for coming out in droves last night. Oh, by the way … We raised a total of $880 for the family of Officer Yung. You guys are great.
