I can’t make my mind up about Lance Armstrong yet. I’ve been watching the interviews and Sports Center and listen to a lot of opinions and arguments but I can’t make a decision. He used to be, to me, the definition of “anything is possible” defying the odds against cancer, all those wins and inspiring millions.
Then there’s the Livestrong foundation. Raising millions for cancer research and awareness, touching millions of lives and probably saving some as well. Again, the definition of inspiration and story that provides endless hope.
Did he cheat, Lie and deceive? Did he throw others under the bus? Yes. he did.
Does that change the fact that his presence in the world did an immeasurable good? No.
It’s tough to say that I wouldn’t have done same. Being so big, such a large personality and involved in such a big thing, much bigger than himself I can see how he could get wrapped up in it and caught up. Is that an excuse? No. I can just see how it could happen and I’m not sure i can blame him for it.

Well at least he didn’t have a pretend girlfriend … too soon? LOL in all seriousness, I will continue to keep his book on my office’s bookshelf for the time being, if anything for the fact that it is a great firsthand account of what many people go through with chemotherapy treatment.
